A musician with many years of experience, she has composed three symphonic works—as well as other works of varying scope—and has created arrangements for choir and orchestra. She has participated in numerous concerts and events in Ierapetra, Heraklion, and Athens, actively contributing to the creation of musical ensembles and a contemporary, demanding musical style.
– Teaching Career & Role in Heraklion
Her teaching journey began in 1990 at the Municipal Music School of Ierapetra and at conservatories in Heraklion, where she taught accordion, piano, keyboard/organ, and advanced theory.
In September 2001, she founded and has since directed Mousiki Apopsi Conservatory. Since September 2015, she has also served as the conservatory’s Artistic Director. Today, she teaches piano, keyboard/organ, accordion, vocal training, and advanced theory, guiding students of all ages—from first steps to exams and performances.
– Teaching Philosophy
At Mousiki Apopsi, we believe in personalized learning: each student progresses at a pace that respects their uniqueness, in an environment of safety, encouragement, and joy. Technique is built steadily, expression is nurtured with care, and stage experience comes through concerts and ensemble work.
